DDF Multiple Product Review- Plus GIVEAWAY

The wonderful staff at DDF was kind enough to send me a few of their products for me to review and share with you.  The products I will be reviewing are the Revolve 400X Micro-Polishing System with Polishing Crystals, Blemish Foaming Cleanser, Clarifying Hydrator, and Sulfur Therapeutic Mask.  These products are perfect for my skin, which is categorized as the following:

• Combination (Oily on cheeks and chin, dry elsewhere)
• Large Pores
• Acne Prone

I used these products for 8 days to see if I could notice a difference.  Let me just first say WOW!  I cannot believe the difference it made on my skin!  I will give you a step by step on the products I used, how I used them, and my results.

The first step is to always cleanse your skin.

I used the DDF Foaming Cleanser each morning and night and before and after any masks or exfoliation treatments.

 DDF FOAMING CLEANSER REVIEW

This cleanser was prefect for my skin because it is gentle, easy to pump, and foams well.  I tend to choose cleansers that foam or lather because I feel like I get the deepest clean and my face does not get dry.  This cleanser contains salicylic acid which helps to treat blemishes.  I used this product every morning and night before I used any masks, moisturizers, or exfoliants.

Pros: Foams, clean smell, contains salicylic acid, pump dispenser, leaves skin soft and fresh, gentle

Cons: This cleanser is so gentle that if I had a heavy makeup day, I would often clean my face twice at night to remove all traces of makeup.  I am not sure if it was necessary or if I am just overly concerned with my skin.

DDF CLARIFYING HYDRATOR REVIEW

This moisturizer does not contain medication for blemishes, but it keeps your skin balanced and hydrated.  The products used to eliminate acne often make skin dry and flaky.  This moisturizer is light enough to keep skin looking fresh while controlling shine and minimizing the build up of sebum (oil).  I LOVE this moisturizer because it was light and did not make my skin feel sticky.  I am very picky when it comes to moisturizers because I do not like anything on my face that I can feel and often moisturizers seem heavy on my face.  The Clarifying Hydrator blends effortlessly into my skin.  I used this product every night as a final step in my routine and every morning prior to putting on my makeup.

Pros: Light, controls sebum, balances acne prone skin, hydrating, clean scent, large bottle (one bottle will last you at least several months), blends nicely

Cons: ??

DDF SULFUR THERAPEUTIC MASK REVIEW

First off, let me say that this was one of my FAVORITE products, not only from the kit that was sent to me, but one of my favorite products EVER!  As an adult who still suffers from light acne, I have spent at least 16 years trying every acne product you can imagine.  It always seemed that nothing would ever work. A few years ago I experimented with a product containing sulfur and realized that it is the key ingredient for healing my skin.  This mask contains 10% sulfur and is recommended to be used once a week.  I was a little nervous the first time I used it because I know that sulfur can have a pretty powerful smell.  This mask doesn’t smell like roses by any means, but it was certainly the least offensive sulfur product I have used.  I put the mask all over my face and let it dry for 10 minutes.  Let me tell you, this stuff works FAST!  I felt the mask tighten my face quickly and it held that firmness until I washed it clean.  After rinsing, my face was smooth, tight, and felt fabulous!  I put on a little of the Clarifying Hydrator and my skin felt wonderful.  This product will have to remain in stock on my bathroom shelf at all times.

Pros: Fast, clears pores, effective, contains sulfur, non-offensive scent, large jar (again, this product will last a VERY long time)

DDF REVOLVE 400X MICRO-POLISHING SYSTEM REVIEW

The DDF Revolve 400X Micro-Polishing System includes a micro-polisher tool, 2 Foam Microdermabrasion Exfoliators, 1 Deep Cleansing Brush, DDF Polishing Crystals, and 2 AA Batteries.  This kit includes everything you need to give yourself the microdermabrasion treatment at home.  The interchangeable pads rotate up to 400 times per minute to produce professional-like results.  The treatment is very gentle, but you will notice the results immediately.  The two flat pads are very gentle for every day use, while the brush head gives a deeper exfoliation and is recommended for use every other day.  There are two speed options on the device and it is shower-friendly.  I am thankful for that because I often wash my pads/brushes when they are still attached without thinking about the device getting wet.  I wash the pads after every use and lay them out to dry overnight.

When I first applied the polishing crystals to my face (you wet your face and apply a thin layer of the crystals before using the device), I immediately noticed a warming sensation which let me know that it was working its magic.  I was worried at first that I would feel the exfoliation treatment because when you apply the crystals, you can tell how grainy it feels.  Surprisingly, when you are using the pads or brush either one, you cannot feel the crystals on your skin.  What I did feel was a nice massage-like sensation on my face.  I seriously did not want to turn it off!  The vibrations felt amazing.  The first thing I noticed after using the mirco-polishing system is that my skin was very bright and radiant.  It was smooth to the touch and felt very hydrated.  By the end of the week, my face was absolutely glowing!  Many of my bumps were gone and my skin had never felt so soft.

Pros: Smooth results, even skintone, bright complexion, two speeds, batteries included, interchangeable heads, shower-friendly, easy to use, travel-friendly, soothing vibrations, replacement kits available

Cons: Costs money to replace heads (which is actually a good thing to prevent bacteria from forming on your brushes/pads)

In general I am very pleased and impressed with the DFF line.  I think they have earned a new lifetime customer and advocate for their products.  I would highly recommend any one of these products to my very best friend.  I promise, they are worth every penny!
