New Beauty Test Tube - Promo Code

I just signed up for my first ever New Beauty Test Tube.  Here is what it looks like:

Beauty Bar Stackable Promo Codes

Beauty Box 5 - March

It seems as though Beauty Box 5 is really stepping up to the plate!  I am super impressed with this month's box and have decided to sign up for a yearly subscription.  Here is what I received (my camera was dying, so I was rushing like a mad woman to get these photos taken, so please ignore the poor quality!):

This is a deep conditioning treatment for your hair.  I can never get enough of these!  This is a really nice sized packet as well.  It is even a vegan product!  My cousin would be proud of me ;)

Becca Eye Tint in Pewter

A little of this goes a LOOOOONG way!  It came out super fast when I opened it to check out the color and I kind of made a mess because I applied too much.  I also recommend applying this with a brush because it tends to get everywhere.  Also, my fingers seemed to push the color around and it began to look uneven.  It is a liquid like substance, so make sure to use an appropriate brush.

Lavera Eyeliner

This is a wooden pencil, and although I prefer automatic, I really liked this liner.  It is a pretty color and glides on smoothly.  

Pur-Lisse Gentle Soy Milk Cleanser and Makeup Remover

Again, this is a very nice sized product.  I wanted to be able to tell you it smelled nice, but right now I am so congested that I honestly couldn't tell you :(

I am picky when it comes to cleanser because it has to a) foam up and b) remove all makeup.  I will be trying this out soon to let you know what I think.  I have been seeing a lot of this brand here lately, but this product is new to me.

Freeman Facial Anti-Stress Mask

As I am with cleansers, I am picky with face masks.  I despised the one I received in a previous MyGlam bag, but I think I will still give this one a try because I do like other Freeman products.  Also, I love dead sea mineral products, so I will be saying this for a spa-at-home day.

Chic Stix Review

I know I should probably be going to bed, but I could not wait until tomorrow to share this review.  I just used my Chic Stix Shave Stick and am thrilled with it!

Pros

• Smells heavenly!
• Easy to use
• Convenient 
• No mess
• Great for shaving underarms!

Cons

• Can be difficult to see
• May be expensive to some

When I first used the product, it was completely transparent.  The more I used it, a slight white hue showed up.  I am not sure if my legs were too dry at first or if I wasn't using enough product, but it didn't take long to notice a difference.  I will definitely be using this product when I have to travel.  I hate packing shaving cream because it takes up too much space, I fear that it will leak, and it is a mess if it gets too hot.  My favorite part (besides the smell and the oh-so-cute packaging) is that it is completely mess free.  I hate when I apply shaving cream and have to rinse my hands 15 times (yes, that was an exaggeration, but you get my point) and shaving cream ends up everywhere.  Not once did I have to rinse my hands and my shave was so much quicker!  My legs are also pretty sensitive and this product left them feeling super smooth with no irritation or itching.  Some people may argue that $9 is too steep, but I will definitely be picking up a few of these at my discounted member rate of $7.20!  Also, there is free shipping on all orders.

The Look Bag- March

I just received my newest box and I am so glad I paid for the year subscription! If you love The Look Bag as much as I do, you can sign up here! This subscription is only $10 per month!

The only disappointment is that I was under the assumption that the products came in a makeup bag because according to the site, "Every month, you will receive your reusable look bag filled with carefully selected beauty samples."   The bag it came in was one of those see through drawstring bags that sample packets come in.  I plan to call the company tomorrow to get clarification about this.

The website does not list the size of the full bottle, so I cannot give it a value.  It is a small sample, and the full size is $65.

First of all, I HATE the name of this.  Since my name is Jacinta, it rhymes with placenta and I have been teased for years.  Not only that, but HELLO!!!  Placenta is gross!  Not really looking forward to putting this on my face.  It is a powder that you mix together with water like the Dermalogica.  I haven't yet decided if I will be brave enough to try this out.  Pretty packaging, though!

Frownies Facial Patches and Gentle Lifts

I am honestly not sure of the value of this either.  There are two different products that are sold separately.  The full size patches are $19.95 and include 144 patches, which is a 4-8 week supply.  The lifts are $34.95, but it does not state how many are included in the box.  I am sure I could research to find the value, but honestly, I am too worn out at the moment to take the time (I just came home from a field trip to DC that I planned for 75 kids and 13 adults.  My brain is fried!  Haha).

I am curious how this really works, so when I have the time to try them out, I will let you know what I think ;)

Beauty Army March- Value $81.33

I just received my March Beauty Army box!  I am excited to share what I received with you, although I was not as impressed with this month's choices as those in the past.  The problem with Beauty Army is that once you have chosen so many products, the choices seem to get limited.  It appears as though what is left over are the products that you did not choose in the past, and usually they are not chosen for a reason.  The company has stated that they are expecting new products, so I am hoping to see some more options soon!!

This cream was very moisturizing and came packaged VERY well.  The box was wrapped in cellophane,  then the jar had a gold seal.  Even the jar had a nice quality.  I seriously doubt I would purchase this product (HELLO, $125!!!!!), but it was a nice sample to receive.

I love this line!  I received the moisturizing LipSurgence in my March Birchbox, but wanted to try out the matte lipstain as well.  I have actually tried this product on at Ulta and almost purchased it last month.  I am glad I waited, because this little buddy was practically free!
This product goes on a little heavy, which I am assuming is why it is so long lasting.  After wearing it for a few minutes, it begins to feel more natural though.  I have worn it while eating a snack and drinking a Coke Zero and it is still holding up like a champ!  Plus it is a very pretty, flattering color.  Love it!
