Talk about excitement!  I pulled in my driveway to find a gorgeous pink box sitting by my door!  I am thrilled to show the contents of my box.  Most of the products will not receive reviews from me until later as it will take a while before I can try it all out.  It was JAM PACKED with goodies!  Keep in mind I only paid $29.95 for this box!  If you are interested on reading up any of the products featured, be sure to check out the New Beauty website!

Value: The samples were not labeled as to how much each contained.  The Phloretin CF retails at $152 for 30ml.  The Sheer Defense retails at $32 for 1.7 oz.  I am going to guess the values of these to be at around $20, but I could be way off!

Mally Evercolor Shadow Stick (Full Size)

I received a pretty silver shade.  I decided to swatch it for you, even though I HATE the look of skin close up (gross).  I swatched it a few hours ago and it is not budging!  I will more than likely have to use eye makeup remover to get it off.  They say this stuff really lasts and I believe it!  Apparently you could wear it for up to 5 days without it coming off, although they do not recommend it :)

Yes, I saved the best for last!  I am in love with Morrocanoil.  I use the hair treatment oil consistently after being introduced by my hair dresser.  It makes my hair silky smooth and soft.  I cannot wait to use this product!

I am super impressed with my first New Beauty Test Tube and will continue to sign up to receive them!  This is the most fun I have had going through a box in a long time!  As you can tell, it certainly paid for itself.  Thank you New Beauty!!

Hello again, ladies!  I just received my Look Bag for April and I am excited  ready to show you all what I received!

I guess this is what they mean by "reuseable bag."  Ho hum.

Tan Towel Self-Tan Towelette

These little towelettes scare the daylights out of me!  Almost every experience I have had with self tanners (including the expensive Mystic tans at Sun Tan City) have been an orange-y, blob-by, streaky mess!  I have heard LOTS of great reveiws from this brand, I am just a little skeptical.  I may try this one out when it is a little cooler outside so that if I screw it up (which is highly likely), I can just bundle up until the disaster disappears!

Pur-Lisse Daily Moisturizer

I actually think I may enjoy this product.  I really like the line and know that I need to start being more cognizant of applying spf every day.

 Laura Mercier Perfecting Water

Hmmm... this is interesting.  Props to The Look Bag for introducing me to something I have not seen before.  I love the Laura Mercier line, I had just never seen this particular product.  I didn't even know it existed!  The full size version actually comes in a spray bottle, which makes more sense.  According to Macy's,

"This moisture mist provides a surge of hydration, preparing the skin for serums and moisturizers by helping the absorption of key ingredients. Skin feels hydrated, refreshed and invigorated."

Jovie Jubilee Luxury Body Lotion

This lotion did have a nice smell to it, but I am not a huge fan of lotions, so this will be going in my giveaway/trade stash (which is ever growing)!

Water Garden Perfume

I am not honestly sure what this sample is of.  I followed the website and did not see a fragrance called Water Garden or the name written on the other side of the card.  I don't think this can be purchased on The Look Bag website, so I am not even sure if I found the correct site.  Honestly, it's not worth the time and effort to research to find the exact value.  If it is the prefume from the card that was included in the bag, you can get 3.4 oz for $1.99, so I am guessing this sample was not worth much anyway.  Therefore, I will just exclude it from the total value.  I hope no feelings are hurt :) 

All-in-all I am not particularly thrilled with this bag.  Although the price of the Pur-Lisse did up the value, I am not sure I would have spent that amount on the product if it came down to it.  No, I am not giving up on the company, I am just not feeling this month.  I am hoping for a much better bag next month.  I am still loving the products from last time, so I am very forgiving!  Come on, Look Bag!  Make me proud in May :)

Be Fine Exfoliating Cleanser and Daily Moisturizer

What I LOVE about this sample is that there are 5 individual packets.  These packets are FULL!  I am thinking you can get at least a few uses from each packet.  I have the full size exfoliator, but I am excited to use the moisturizer and am glad to have travel packets of the cleanser.  Great choice, Birchbox!

Zoya Polish in Bevin

I am not a huge Zoya fan, but then again, I am not big on nail polishes in general.  I have them in various shades of pink, but I tend to just use whatever is at the salon.  If I do my nails at home, the polish never lasts.  This is a color I would not use, so I plan to use it in a giveaway.  I do think these are nice of Birchbox to give out, it just is not for me.

Wonderstruck Perfume by Taylor Swift

I am thinking I may have miscalculated the value, but I checked 3 times.  The 3.4 oz version is only $59.50 and this sample is .04 oz.  It is a bigger vial than I normally see for perfume samples.  I did not love this perfume, but my boyfriend likes it, so I may have to try it out for a few days to see if it grows on me.  I do not hate it, it was just not my favorite.

Lulu Organics Lavender & Clary Sage Hair Powder

I am pretty excited about this sample and cannot wait to use it.  I have to wash my hair EVERY day and in an extreme emergency in which I wake up late, I have to settle for baby powder.  I have tried various dry shampoo sprays, but none have been all that great (the best is a brand I received from Beauty Army).  I love that this is a powder, which is really what my hair needs most on days when I do not have time to wash.  I will be posting a review of this as soon as I have the opportunity to use it (knowing me and the fact that next week is the week after spring break, I have an idea I may need to use it SOON)!

Overall I love my box this month!  At first I was a little disappointed when I saw what I would be receiving online, but I instantly changed my mind when I had the box in hand.  There are lots of great things I cannot wait to try out and I love the convenience of the products this month.  I hope everyone else loves their box as much as I do!
