Beauty Box 5 June- AH-MAZING! Value $21.58

This is the BEST Beauty Box 5 package I have received.  It may even be one of my favorite boxes EVER, which is saying a lot.  I hope all those girlies who cancelled last month and were really hateful online are regretting it now.  Lol.  Please keep in mind that it is not a great box because of the name brands (they were not for the most part), but because of the variety and quality of the products.  Yes, I have tried them ALL out already.  The best part is that they are all very affordable so I will be very likely to place orders soon.

My Goodies

The Insert Card
This is very informative and I love that it includes the prices and sizes of the products.

Everything was wrapped in this sheer drawstring bag.

Blinc Eyeliner
Value $2.48
I LOVE Blinc!  I received the mascara in Birchbox and fell in love.  The mascara was really neat because it did not smudge whatsoever and when you removed it, it kind of peeled off.  I did not even have to use eye makeup remover.  I loved it so much that of course I ordered the full size with bonus points.  Today I am rocking both the eyeliner and mascara together.  The sample brush was a little difficult to use, but it glided on easily and dried quickly.  Yes, I am VERY positive that this combination will be a part of my new daily routine.

Blum Naturals Oil Absorbing Facial Tissues
Value $2.99
This is a full size product.  I love the packaging, but this is probably my least favorite product in the box because my face does not tend to get oily.  I states that it does not take your makeup off, but I tried them out not long after applying my makeup, and it did come off a little on the sheet.  These are neat to have to throw in a beach bag.

Everyday Minerals Girl Friday Blush
Value $10.99
I ADORE this blush!  You can ask anyone who knows me, I am NOT a blush girl.  In fact, I even just discussed this with my cousin yesterday over lunch.  I never know how to apply it correctly, so I am a bit scared of it.  I decided to try this out today and loved it!  The shade is really light and pretty.  It is not a bold color and blends very well, which is a necessary for me.  I think I am in love!

Check out the cute card that came with the blush!  It came with a coupon code and an adorable little illustration for how to use the blush.

Comodynes Urban Cosmetics Easy Peeling Towelette
Value $1.62
I really like this brand, so I was happy to see this sample.  I tried it out today before applying my makeup.  The towelette has 2 sides- one is for scrubbing and the other is soothing.  The scrubbing side felt like I was having a mini microdermabrasion facial.  It wasn't too harsh, but I could tell my complexion would have a nice glow when I finished.  Then I used the smooth side and I felt like I was in heaven!  The scent is wonderful and it really did soothe my skin after the scrubbing.  I think I wiped my face for a full five minutes!  Haha.  The only pet peeve of mine is that it was just a tad bit sticky after I finished (you are not supposed to rinse your face afterward).  The solution?  I just dabbed on a bit of moisturizer (Sephora Instant Moisture is my fave) and I was good to go!  Yes, my complexion was glowing :)

Here is a close up of the "scrubbing" side of the towelette.

The All Natural Face Vegan Mineral Eyeshadow
Value $3.50
I have a cousin who is vegan and I usually put aside all of my vegan samples for her.  This one is SO gorgeous that I just have to keep it for myself (sorry, Jen)!  The good part?  They are so cheap that we can just order some more (and I WILL be purchasing more colors soon).  I wore this today along with my Blinc products and new blush.  I know I throw the word love around a lot, but I really did LOVE the look!  This eyeshadow is very sparkly, light, and pretty.  It even included this neat applicator.

The eyeshadow included a coupon code as well.  I just wonder why they didn't reprint the coupon instead of (incorrectly) fixing the dates on the bottom.  Surely reprinting would have been less time consuming and wouldn't have cost that much money.  Oh well!  I appreciate the discount!

I can't say enough how excited I am with this box.  Minus the foundation and mascara, these products are all I need for a pretty summer look.  I love that I was introduced to new products and that they were all very high quality.  Props to Beauty Box 5 for finding smaller businesses to promote.  I can't wait until next month!

The Look Bag June- Value over $40

Last month I did not post my Look Bag because I had an item leak all over my package.  I decided not to say anything to the company about it because the products were still usable; the pictures would just look horrible.  This month I did my normal sneaking routine to figure out what we were getting and I saw a video in which a girl received a full size Two Faced lip product.  I was a little disappointed that I did not get one in my bag, so I decided to contact customer service, just out of curiosity.  To my delightful surprise, they told me they would send me the Two Faced product and some other goodies because of my leak the previous month.  They TOTALLY did not have to do that, but I am so glad that they are and once again, the customer service has proven to be extraordinary.  Customer service is one my biggest indicators of a good subscription service.  So enough with my gabbing about the customer service and on with what I received!

The Insert

Atopalm Intensive Moisturizing Cream
Value $2.20
I have seen a lot of people receive this from Beauty Army.  I am still debating if I want to use this or put it up for trade.

Prescriptives Lip and Eye Pencil Sharpener
Value $???
I am not typically a fan of pencils that are not automatic, so I am thinking that this one will go up for trade as well.  I apologize for the wrapping, but it is sealed and I decided not to open it since I plan on trading.  I tried to find the value, but I am finding anything from $1-$12 on Google.  It is not yet sold on The Look Bag's website.

Snowberry Cellular Regeneration Night Cream
Value $8.56
This is the one product I am most excited about because of the cute packaging and easy-to-use pump.  I was shocked when I found this online at Beauty Sage for $104 for 1.7 oz.  I hope I don't end up loving it too much!  It could get expensive!

Korres Eyeshadow in Olive Green
Value $16
I am NOT positive, but I read on a forum that this product is discontinued.  It originally cost $16. but you can find it for $13.50 or less online because they are all on sale.  I would love this product, but I am not crazy about the color, so it will be another item I will put up for trade.

Von Berg Luxe Lipliner Pencil in Riviera Nude
Value $14 ???
This is actually a really pretty color and I like that it has a brush on the other end.  The only problem is that it is not automatic.  I may just have to consider keeping this one, though.  If I do, it looks like I will be keeping that sharpener as well. ;)

The Verdict: I do love that this bag had a lot of options and full size make up.  My only concern about this bag is that it is very difficult to find the products if I love them and want to purchase more.  I wish that the products were newer and easily available on their website.  It was certainly worth the $10 I paid for it!

Hey Blogger, I'm BAAAAACK! ;)

Hey ladies!  I switched my blog back to Blogger and for some reason not all of the pictures are showing up.  No fear, I will fix it; just not today!  Lol.  I am headed to the pool!  Hope you are enjoying your summer!

Myglam June Value $42.80

Foreword: If you only do one thing while skimming through this post, click on the link about the lipstick.  It is CRAZY how many colors are available!  ;)

I am so excited about this Myglam bag!  It is probably my favorite one so far, even though I am not crazy at all about the bag.  Sure, it may look cute, but it is cheaply made and glitter gets E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E!!!

The Inserts

Philosophy Take a Deep Breath Moisturizer
Value$6.80
This is an "energizing oxygen gel cream moisturizer."  I am excited to try it because anything with oxygen has to be good for your skin ;)

NYX Round Lipstick in Iced Honey
Value $4
I really like this color!  I was nervous after seeing a few that other people had received.  This makes up for getting a color I hated last month!  I went to the website to determine the value and was BLOWN AWAY by the colors available.  No joke.  You should check it out HERE.  I felt like I was scrolling forever!

Marbella Permanent Eyeliner Pen (Although it is only semi-permanent)

Value $19

This is a pretty amazing value!  I put it on as soon as I got it and it has lasted all day without smudging.  It is said to last 24 hours but removes easily with makeup remover.

Living Proof
frizz Nourishing Styling Cream
Value $13
I LOVE this product!  It is absolutely amazing!  It smells fantastic.  The bad part is that now I really like it and it costs $26 for only 4oz.  Bummer.  I am sure I can find some deals out there, though.  Or some trades (hit me up if you are interested)!

Let me just say WOW!  Great job, MyGlam!  You have really stepped it up these past few months and this month I couldn't be more thrilled.  Finally, nothing at all tacky in your bag (well, aside from the bag itself!  Lol).  This was definitely worth the $10 I paid.  I can't wait to see what they come up with next month.

My 2nd June Birchbox Value $29.45

Having 2 Birchbox subscriptions is definitely fun, but you often receive repeats (which can be a good or a bad thing depending on the product).  They send out such a variety of boxes that I usually get at least a few things that are different.  Here is what I received in my 2nd box this month.
MY REPEATS

Value of Repeats $10.31

Modcloth Headband
Value $14
I thought I was going to love this headband BUT.... not so much.  The wire is a little much for me.  However you put this headband in, it is not going anywhere!  Someone on a forum made a reference that made me laugh.  Check it out below the pic of the headband.  I DO love the cute deer print, though.

Coola Cucumber Mineral Face Sunblock Matte Finish
Value $3.58
What I like about this is that it is supposed to act as a primer.  I have not yet tried it out, but I am really looking forward to it.  It is definitely a product that I would purchase if it has a good feel and finish to it.

 Jouer Luminating Moisture Tint
Value $1.56
I had received a few foil packets of this by request from the Jouer company and it was not my favorite.  I love their lip balm, but the tint was too light for me.  Many people love it though.

What I like most about this box is that even though some of the items were small, they included 7 different products that I could leave feedback for.  Each item that you leave feedback for = 10 points which = $1.  Therefore, my box cost $10 (which includes shipping) and I earned $7 in free product so it's like I paid $3 for almost $30 worth of stuff, shipped!

You can check out my first June Birchbox HERE.

Swap Into Spring Reveal

I recently participated in another swap from Brunch with Amber.  I was lucky to be matched up with a very lovely lady whom I have SO much in common with!  Her name is Heather and you should check out her awesome blog, Life With Heather.

I was SOOOOO excited when I received her package because she really did an excellent job of picking out goodies that really fit me!  Here is what I received:

Here is the super cute handwritten note she sent me!

This is a gorgeous bracelet that Heather told me is really popular in her town. Not only is it really cute, it was so sweet that she would throw in something meaningful.  I have already been wearing it!

Sinful Colors Nail Polish

LOVE this color!  I like things that are super bright.  This is the perfect color for a pedicure.

Essie Nail Polish in Off the Shoulder

O.M.G!!!  I said I loved the last color, so I don't know how to describe how I feel about this one!  Let's just say that I have worn this color since I grabbed it out of the envelope.  No kidding, I put it on before I even took pictures!

E.O.S. Lip Balm

Last, but certainly not least is something that I have wanted to try out for years!  I am not exaggerating.  I think every time I go to Wal Mart I am tempted to pick one up from the shelves right by the register.  For some reason I always talk myself out of it (probably because I am trying SO hard not to be a sporadic shopper and those shelves by the register are WAY too inviting for me)!  This one has a yummy summer fruit taste that I use EVERY day.  I also put it on at night before I go to bed.  Now my problem is trying not to lick my lips all day!  Thanks, Heather! :)

Heather, I cannot be more thrilled with my package.  I am so glad to have met you and am thankful to Amber for hosting.

If you are interested in participating in a swap of your own, I decided to host one myself!  The deadline to sign up is this Friday, June 15th.  You can find out the details HERE.
